Enter total group costs in US dollars. Use your own quotes and estimates; these fields are not price recommendations. Leave a category at zero when it does not apply.
An equal share is a planning estimate, not a payment request. Decide separately how children, households, and individual expenses will be handled.
Add group costs once: venue, food, activities, supplies, and other shared expenses. Keep each household’s travel or lodging separate unless the group has agreed to cover it. The reserve is a percentage of the combined costs; the equal share divides the total including that reserve by the number of payers.
Worked example: $300 venue + $650 food + $150 activities + $100 supplies = $1,200. Add a 10% reserve ($120) for $1,320 total. Divide by 20 agreed payers: $66 each. Forty people may attend; enter 20 in “People sharing the cost” when only those 20 are paying.
Does this request or collect payment? No. It is a planning estimate. Agree contributions separately and check actual quotes. CSV downloads include the costs, reserve, total, and estimated equal share; rounding can leave a few cents to reconcile.
