Attendance and RSVP checklist

Use this before sending an invitation and again before you finalize meals or reservations.

0 of 8 steps complete.

A message to adapt: “We’re planning our family reunion for [date] at [place]. Please reply by [deadline] with who is coming and which days and meals you expect to join. If you’re unsure, say maybe so we can check back. You can reach [organizer] at [reply method].”

How to use the RSVP checklist

The checkmarks describe your invitation and follow-up process; this tool does not collect individual RSVPs or store an attendance list. Ask for yes, no, or maybe, plus the days and meals each person will join.

Worked example: for a June 15, 2030 reunion, set May 15 as the reply deadline, then follow up on unanswered and maybe replies on May 22. Confirm changes before the venue or meal supplier’s actual deadline.

Is a checked step a confirmed headcount? No. Reconcile the replies themselves and offer a phone option. Use the complete RSVP reminder template when asking for an answer.
