Children’s privacy notice

ReunionPortal’s public acquisition and launch notifications are adult-targeted. Hub accounts are for people age 13 and older. People under 13 cannot create or claim an account.

Current boundary

• Public launch-notification signup is for adults 18 and older and does not request child or family-member information.
• Account creation begins with a neutral date-of-birth screen before name, email, password, family, or other account fields.
• The screen permits accurate entry, has no 13-or-older default, and does not announce the cutoff.
• If the result is under 13, registration stops before account information is collected or persisted. We do not request parent contact information or retain the entered date of birth.
• A short-lived protected result cookie helps prevent simple back-button re-entry and contains no raw birth date.

Profile-only family records

An adult family organizer may maintain a profile-only family record that has no credentials and cannot sign in. Such records remain subject to adult-controlled authorization, visibility, minimization, correction, deletion, retention, security, and vendor safeguards before general availability.
