Children’s privacy notice

Reunion Portal’s public marketing and launch-update service are directed to adults. Hub accounts are available only to people age 13 and older. Reunion Portal does not offer an under-13 parental-consent account path.

Age checks during registration

• Account creation begins with a neutral date-of-birth screen before name, email, password, family, or payment information is requested.
• If the entered date shows that the person is under 13, registration stops before an account is created.
• We do not retain the birth date entered in an unsuccessful under-13 attempt. A short-lived protected result cookie helps prevent simple back-button re-entry and does not contain the raw birth date.
• For an eligible registration, the birth date becomes part of the account profile and is handled under the Privacy Notice.

Teen accounts

A person age 13 through 17 may hold a hub account where applicable law and the person’s family arrangements permit it. Family roles, permissions, profile visibility, and supported parent or guardian controls still apply. The public launch-update list remains limited to adults age 18 or older.

Profile-only records for younger relatives

An adult family organizer may create a profile-only family record for a relative who does not have an account. A profile-only record has no password, cannot sign in, and cannot use private messaging. Depending on what an authorized adult adds, it may include a name, family relationship, birth date, photo, or other family-profile information.

Adults should add only information they are authorized to share and should use the available visibility controls. They should avoid sensitive details that are unnecessary for family connection or planning. Reunion Portal does not use these records for behavioral advertising.

Sharing a younger relative’s information

Family permissions, person tags, and profile-only records are not a parental-consent account process. An authorized adult should review the audience for photos, videos, family updates, and reminders before sharing information about a child. Public recipe visibility and guest-gallery links can make selected content available outside the family’s signed-in hub. A guest link can be forwarded, and already-downloaded copies cannot be recalled by revoking it.

Reunion Portal requires an adult age 18 or older for contributions, purchases, auction bids, and other financial actions. A teen’s ability to view family information does not by itself permit those financial actions.

Public-site analytics

The public marketing website offers optional analytics only after a visitor accepts Analytics in Cookie preferences. Microsoft Clarity is limited to selected informational pages and is excluded from launch-update and contact forms, login, registration, the private family hub, and administration pages. We do not knowingly connect public analytics to a child’s profile, account, or private family content.

Removal and family requests

An authorized family organizer can correct or remove family information through the hub where the feature offers that control. A parent, guardian, or the person described by a profile-only record may also contact [email protected] to ask us to review, correct, or remove the record. We may need enough information to confirm identity, authority, and the applicable family before acting.
